Strokes of ColourOriginal Art Exhibition of Watercolour Paintings26th June – 14th July
Harrisons Gallery have taken a different approach with this exhibition as normally we would base an exhibition on a particular subject matter or a particular artist. With Strokes of Colour we have decided to focus solely on watercolour as the medium of choice. Strokes of colour is an original art exhibition focusing on celebrating the great talent that New Zealand artists display with this traditional and versatile medium- watercolour. This is a chance for Harrisons Gallery to show case some new talent that Tauranga has not previously seen alongside some of our very significant local and national stable of artists. We have carefully and thoughtfully chosen each of the artists presented in this exhibition for their reputation, their amazing ability to manipulate the watercolour medium and their status as New Zealand greats.EXHIBITING ARTISTS:Adrienne Pavelka (Lyttelton), Ben Woollcombe (Geraldine), Denise Simmonds (Tauranga), Richard Bolton (Geraldine), Barbara von Seida (Coromandel), Brian Millard (Central Otago), Lisa Christiansen (Tauranga), Raymond Ramsay (Waiheke Island), Murray Stuart (Whangaparaoa), Talitha Brauchli (Tauranga), Margaret Fairs (Tauranga), Ben Ho (Queenstown), Nick Eggleston (Tauranga), Mary Hayward (Tauranga) Note: Click on applicable artist from list above to view their artworks |
