A Taste of Expressive Techniques

Wednesday afternoons from 12.30pm – 2.30pm

This course is based on the techniques that professional Bay of Plenty artist and tutor Sharen Watson has developed over the course of her career as a full time artist. Sharen uses her expressive ability to blend many different mediums in one artwork- some would refer to this as mixed media. We think it is more an eclectic mix of acrylic painting, textures achieved through mediums and 3D objects, watercolour paints and crayons, inks, pastels, charcoal, and collage etc. This highly expressive course would be ideal for those that are thinking about exploring their creative side through art but aren’t sure which medium they may pursue or for those of you wanting a new challenge in your artistic path

Talulah Belle
Intermediate Level
Tuesdays from 12.30pm – 2.30pm

27^th July – 14^th September

$265 per student (own art supplies required- list given upon enrolment)

This course is ideal for those of you that have already attended Talulah’s introduction course. You have eight weeks to focus on your favourite expressionist subject matter while being supportively guided by Talulah. This is also the perfect opportunity for students hat wish to explore palette knife painting. Talulah also encourages students to bring along artworks that they have been working on for group critic discussions- great for feedback and direction relating to your current artworks.
